Cause & Effect.

Since we have started our second Core text, The Great Fire, we have been working very hard on Cause and Effect. Students have not only been identifying cause and effect situations within our text, but they have been practicing using textual evidence to help determine what is a cause and what is the effect or outcome.

One strategy we have been using in class is using sticky notes to flag every instance of cause and effect we come across. If you have read The Great Fire, you will know that there is a ton of material in there!
