Third Quarter PSA Project

This week in 6th grade we began working on our 3rd quarter performance task. After our completion of our 3rd Core text "The Secret of Yellow Death", students were placed into groups to research an epidemic and use argument writing to encourage the public to take a stand with them. By the end of the project, students will have researched an epidemic of their choice, created a mini poster showcasing all they have learned about their disease and created a PSA (skit or film) encouraging people to either join their cause or raise awareness.
